Technology is a wonderful thing! We have really gotten hooked on the Skype program. The video phone never took off in this country, but webcam chats are alive and well. So far we only have two friends and families set up to chat with us, but we are hoping to add more. In the photo, Cooper's sister Cate is talking with Emily. This was after we had already had a conversation with our nephews where we could see and hear them and they could see and hear us. We all thought that was pretty neat but Jamie thought the best part was seeing our cat. He thought his new cousin was pretty neat too. If you don't have a webcam, you should get one. We recommend the Logitech brand webcams which are available at most office supply or electronic stores. They seem to work the best with Skype.If you get established on Skype, give us a call. We like Skype a lot and used it the whole time Nikki was in Rome. Sometimes we only use the voice part though depending on what we look like while at the computer! Carter is smiling up a storm!
